Tower Bridge will host a performance from BBC Music Day ambassador Jack Savoretti on the glass floor on the high-level walkways. You’ll also be able to hear more on the BBC Radio London Breakfast Show with Vanessa Feltz.

Tower Bridge is one of the world’s most famous landmarks. It was built at the end of the 19th century to help ease road traffic while maintaining river access to London’s docks. Famously, it features moveable roadways that lift up for passing ships.

The Royal Philharmonic

Your chance to join the world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Westminster Music Library for an inter-generational celebration of the 125th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Prokofiev.

Two creative workshops and a public performance will introduce primary-age pupils and the elderly to the composer through exploration of his beloved programmatic piece, Peter and the Wolf.

The John Ongom Big Band is a community big band based in Leytonstone. They will be playing music from the classic big band era including the Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald and Buddy Rich
