A festival of photography
Edith Bowman is renowned for her work within radio and television; whether hosting, reviewing, or interviewing.
Her first book, Great British Music Festivals, shares Edith's personal photo collection, memories and behind the scenes insight into the last 20 years of festival going. It documents her experiences, the bands she met along the way, and reflects on the rise of a cultural phenomenon which has become an important part of every music lover's summer.
With her access all areas pass, she's mastered the art of taking photos which capture the festival fever. We asked her to tell us more.

How do you get creative outside of work?

I leave the house with my Leica camera and go exploring for things to take pictures of. Or I sit in my local coffee shop and write.
How does it make you feel?
Happy and excited and taller.
Why would you encourage other people to get creative?
Finding something that makes you feel happy but that also challenges you to push yourself creatively is so healthy and important. You will find out things about yourself you never knew and might even surprise yourself.
Time to get snap happy
