9. Tip for the top - what's shaking and breaking? For me it has to a track by Julius Papp feat. Marquez of Uneaq - "Your Life" (NiteGrooves) fully soulful and definitely one of my tracks for the summer. On the funky front a track by Solitaire - "I Like Love" (White Label) it a really catchy track, which is gonna be big this summer.
10. Who to watch - what DJs, labels and artists are heading for the top? The record labels at the moment to watch are Soulfuric, Peppermint Jam, MoreHouse, Knee Deep, Hed Kandi and Distant which this year have all been putting out some great tracks.
Preston/Manchester based Soularis with Jonathan Dunn and Greg Fenton are also doing well, with some great tracks coming out of the Semi-Precious Studio such as Fire, Don't Change and Taste Sugar.
Fire has recently been signed for release on the new Es Vive Ibiza 2003 compilation. Taste has also been recently signed to Estereo records as well. So these guys are really ones to watch. Watch out for me as well, maybe one day!
