You've been DJ'ing for many years - what keeps you going?
Not very good at anything else plus I cannot stop buying music.

The dance scene has really evolved since the boom in the 80's/early 90's - how do you see the next ten years?
Music and technology are evolving fast, The "Super Club" is dead, R&B is the new pop.
What happened to speed garage? Why are our most successful DJs playing all over the world and not at home?
The bubble has well and truly burst but that's not a negative outlook, it's a chance to start from scratch again. You should always welcome change.

What do you see as the essence of your success? I'm good at what I do and not up my own backside!

Where have you travelled to DJ?
Most of Lancashire, Oxford, Luton, Plymouth, Ibiza and Mars.

What clubs would you like to play and why?
Fabric in London - they hold no bars music policy.

Who do you most admire in music today?
Tim Westwood, John Peel, Pete Tong, Pink Floyd, Pet Shop Boys, The Beloved M j Cole, Grooverider, Sasha, Skint records, Norman Cook, Eminem, Dr Dre, Timberland, The Neptunes, The Orb KLF, Daft Punk the list goes on......

Who is your music legend?
James Brown, Keith Moon, Bono, Bobby Byrd, Brian Eno, Kraftwork.

Ibiza - dead and buried, or ready to fight another day?
Finished, it's a money sucking tourist trap.

Tip for the top - what's shaking and breaking?
The return of some decent Hip Hop and the end of crap trance.

Who to watch - what DJs, labels and artists are heading for the top?
DJ: Ian Rigby. One of the guys who does the warm up for me, great music very keen.
Labels: Flawless records in Wigan, getting well deserved attention at last.
Artists: Eminem - unstoppable.
