DESCRIPTION: London
London's five million voters will be returning nine MEPs in 2004 instead of their usual 10. Of all the UK's EU constituencies the capital's result often comes closest to national share of the vote in general elections. This year Londoners will not just be casting one vote for the European Parliament, they will also cast a further four in the London Mayor and London Assembly elections.
