| Sunday, 26 January, 2003, 12:24 GMT Jones hails hero Ndah ![]() George Ndah celebrates his FA Cup double Wolves manager Dave Jones revealed that George Ndah's recent upturn in fortunes is down to hard work and extra fitness. Ndah scored twice in Wolves' 4-1 thrashing of Leicester on Saturday and also netted the winner in the third round win over Newcastle. And Jones explained: "What has happened with George is he has got himself a lot fitter.
"I think we've changed his mentality a little bit. "He has toughened himself up and now he is starting to show the form that the previous manager thought of him when he bought him." Leicester manager Micky Adams had no complaints about the result and admitted: "We weren't at the races in the second half. "We came out for the second half looking for the equaliser because we know they have a history of being nervous at home. "We're not going through the best of spells but I won't be panicking because these things can happen in a season." |
