George Ndah and Kenny Miller hit two goals apiece as Wolves booked their place in the fifth round after overcoming Midlands rivals Leicester.

Ndah struck twice in the first half while Miller claimed a brace after the break as their side reached the fifth round for the first time in five years.

But Ndah, who also scored in the last round against Newcastle, had to sit out the last half hour after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury which had threatened to keep him out of the game.

Wolves got off to the perfect start taking the lead after five minutes.

Ndah broke through, held off the challenge of two Leicester defenders and slotted a left-footed shot past the keeper.

The home side continued to make much of the running with Paul Ince seeing his effort from a Mark Kennedy cross well saved.

But they were rocked just before the half hour when Denis Irwin pulled down Paul Dickov in the box.

Referee Mike Dean awarded a penalty, much to the frustration of the Wolves players and Dickov dispatched the ball for the equaliser.

Ndah was continuing to cause the Leicester defence problems and on one occasion he broke through again and rounded Ian Walker only to shoot into the side netting.

But he got his reward coming up to half time. Callum Davidson fouled Kenny Miller and from Denis Irwin's free-kick on the right, Ndah rose highest to head home.

With the goal coming at such a crucial time, it boosted Wolves' confidence and five minutes into the second half they extended their advantage.

Ndah's through ball found Kenny Miller in the area and the Scotsman made no mistake.

With Wolves in the ascendancy, they created chance after chance with Adam Proudlock going close twice while Irwin's free kick was saved.

But Miller, with his second goal of the afternoon, put the result beyond doubt.

His shot was initially parried by Walker but the striker got to the rebound quickest to complete an easy victory.
