Vagabonds slumped to a 57-10 defeat at league leaders Anselmians in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One on Saturday. The Manx side trailed 22-3 at half-time with a Leigh Kennaugh penalty the sum total of their efforts. Bryn Griffiths' try early in the second-half gave the Manx side hope, but three late tries for the home side added to Vagabonds woes. Their fifth straight defeat sees them slide to 11th in the table. Anselmians now top the table by nine points. Meanwhile, in Division Two, Ramsey thrashed Wallasey 72-3 at Mooragh Park to remain sixth. Douglas remain 12th after losing 38-5 to Warrington at Port-e-Chee.
