Plymouth 20-12 Cornish Pirates

Plymouth Albion
Devon put one over Cornwall as Plymouth Albion got the better of their South West rivals Cornish Pirates.

Albion were always in front at The Brickfields, but the deficit narrowed to just one point in the second half.

Pirates were awarded a penalty try to make it 13-12 when centre Mark Ireland was illegally tackled by Keni Fisilau.

But, from a scrum, number eight Kyle Marriott worked his way through weak tackling to set up Wayne Sprangle for the winning try.
