Cornish Pirates flanker Sam Betty has been summoned to appear before an RFU disciplinary panel after he was sent off against Launceston last week. Betty has been charged with striking contrary to law 10(4)(a) after he was given a red card following an alleged head butt. Five players were booked during the ill-tempered Cornwall Super Cup tie at Polson Bridge on Monday, 17 November. Cornish Pirates won the match 15-3, Aisea Havili scoring two tries.
