Plymouth Albion centre Matt Hopper thanked his team-mates after scoring twice on his debut against Esher.

The 23-year-old joined Albion in September after a stint playing for Manly in Australia.

"Defensively, I always had great talk from the inside, so it made my job a lot easier," he told BBC Radio Devon after Saturday's 36-14 home win.

"I could just concentrate on making my tackles so I really appreciated the support from the boys."
