Matt Hopper scored two tries on his debut as Plymouth Albion beat Esher 36-14 at the Brickfields in National League One. Hooker James Owen opened the scoring before a fine individual try from Hopper for the second on 28 minutes. A penalty and a Ryan Hopkins pushover try saw Albion lead 24-0 at the break. Hopper secured a bonus point for Albion on 50 minutes before Esher got one back. Kyle Marriott then got a fifth Albion try before a late Esher score.
