Paul Tisdale was happy to come away from Morecambe with a point
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale was happy at the way his side battled back with 10 men to earn a point at Morecambe on Saturday.
City were already a goal down when French midfielder Bertie Cozic was shown a red card after 48 minutes.
But City battled back, midfielder Emmanuel Panther got an equaliser five minutes from time - the summer signing's first goal for the club.
"It's only a point, but it's a vital point," Tisdale told BBC Devon.
"It's a terrific feel. To be a goal down and down to 10 men I wouldn't say we dominated the second half, but we certainly had the better of it. And that was with 10 men and a goal down."
The red card to Cozic apart following an alleged elbow, Tisdale put City's performance down to his side's better discipline.
"I think what made the difference this week compared to other weeks when we've chased games was that we were a little bit more disciplined," said Tisdale. "Maybe we had to be like that because we only had 10 men."
