Argyle ladies could not find the killer instinct in front of goal
Plymouth Argyle ladies have had their dreams of a fourth-round tie at Premier League Leeds Carnegie after losing 2-0 at home to Forest Green Rovers.
Two first-half goals were enough for the ladies team of the Blue Square Premier side to get the win at Bolitho Park on Sunday.
It was Argyle's first game in a month and manager Kev Rose said their lack of games may have contributed to the loss.
"I believe our lack of match practice showed today," he said.
"Forest Green deserved their victory today, as they were the better side.
"Once we can get playing once a week you will see a big improvement. I have every faith in my players. We will be in the mix for promotion at the end of the season."
