Three young Guernsey sailors have been selected to train with the UK's South Zone squad over the winter.

Phoebe Lewis, Tom Lees and Eloise Tanguy will be given training both on and off the water at venues across the South Coast of England.

Zone squads are views as the first step on the ladder to qualifying for the UK national squad.

Clementine Thompson has also been selected for the Optimist National Intermediate squad for the second year.

Thompson will attend six training weekends across the UK over the winter.
