St Austell's Under-16s netball team have finished ninth in the National Championships in Manchester. St Austell came second in their group after losing to Tameside and beating Hull Chevrons. Further defeat followed against Weston Park, before St Austell came back to beat Star by 33-27. The Cornish side went on to produce one of their best performances of the tournament to beat Maidenhead-based Eagles 23-20 and claim ninth place.
