Stirling has seen his side lose three times to Bristol this season
Cornish Pirates boss Chris Stirling has not given up on their outside chance of reaching the semi-finals of the inaugural Championship play-offs.
The Pirates need a bonus point win over Pool A leaders Bristol on Saturday, and hope Plymouth Albion beat Bedford to have any chance of going through.
Stirling told BBC Cornwall: "If we play to our potential we could get four tries and beat Bristol.
"We'll go out and give it everything we can, and whatever will be will be."
But Stirling knows a victory will be hard to come by as Bristol have won all three of their encounters this term.
"They're probably the most consistent team in this year's competition so it would be very rewarding to pick them off and especially at Camborne in front of our home supporters," he said.
"But on the other hand we can't control the Plymouth versus Bedford outcome, and at Goldington Road I think it might just be a gate too far."
When the Pirates played Bristol at Camborne last October, the Cornish side were on the end of 35-13 defeat.
