Buckland Athletic held their nerve to claim a 3-1 win over Falmouth and stay top of the Peninsula Premier League.
With second-placed Bodmin winning 4-0 at Cullompton, Buckland needed to take all three points to retain their two-point advantage over their rivals.
Fourth-placed Tavistock drew 3-3 at home with Dartmouth, while fifth-placed St Blazey beat Witheridge 1-0.
At the bottom, already relegated Holsworthy suffered further misery with a 7-1 defeat by Plymouth Parkway.
Saturday's other matches saw Bovey hold Liskeard to a 2-2 draw, whilst Elburton beat Penzance 2-1 and Launceston were 2-0 winners over Saltash.
Both Bodmin and Buckland Athletic are back in action on Wednesday, with the league leaders set to host Falmouth, while Bodmin are at home to Bovey Tracey.
