Bodmin remain rooted to the bottom of the Cornish Netball League after suffering their sixth defeat of the season on Tuesday. Penryn were the latest side to overturn struggling Bodmin, beating them 53-36 away from home. The result leaves Bodmin two points adrift of second-bottom Predators, although they do have a game in hand. Penryn are now fifth in the league standings, just two points behind fourth-placed Penzance. The league's next game is on Thursday, when leaders Hayle take on second-placed St Austell 3 at home.
