Jersey's Jamie MacDonald has been knocked out of the British Isles Indoor Bowls Championships in the semi-finals.

The 21-year-old went down 21-10 to Scotland's Stewart Anderson in his last four match in Belfast on Wednesday.

But the island's women's pair of Carole Allan and Gaynor Thomas now know who they will play in the final.

The Jersey duo will face England's Cindy and Karen Edmondson after they beat Welsh duo Hannah Smith and Anwen Butten 21-12.
