Jersey bowler Cyril Renouf finished first in the individual standings at the European Team Bowls Championships in Cyprus.

Renouf went into the final day trailing Guernsey's Lucy Beere, however after a draw in the mixed pairs and a win in the singles he won by one point.

Gaynor Thomas secured Jersey's next best individual place with 18th.

Jersey finished fifth in the team section ten points behind Guernsey who won the bronze medal.
