Lucy Beere leads the standings two third of the way through the event

Guernsey's Lucy Beere leads the individual standings in the European Team Bowls Championships in Cyprus.

Beere is still unbeaten after 14 of the 21 sessions and holds a five-point lead over Scotland's Lynn Stein at the top.

Jersey's Gaynor Thomas and Cyril Renouf are the next best Islanders in 10th and 11th place respectively.

But the Jersey and Guernsey teams have fallen away from the top of the standings, Guernsey are now fourth while Jersey sit in sixth spot.

Jersey's Chris Grimes, playing for the European Select side is in 16th place while Guernsey's Matt Le Ber, who was the early pace-setter, has slipped back to 21st overall.
