Jersey's men's water polo team put in some good performances but only won one match in the final round of the South East Championships.

At the Les Quennevais pool, Jersey started well and were always in control during a 14-8 win over Basingstoke.

A tough match against Southampton went the way of the visitors 12-7.

Against the two toughest sides, Jersey lost 13-8 to eventual winners Worthing, and 19-15 to Invicta, in a match where Jersey held the lead for long periods.
