Jersey face four matches at the weekend in Basingstoke |
The Jersey men's water polo team are considering switching from the South East Region Club Championships to the South West competition next season. The Channel Islands side are considering the move at all age groups. Jersey captain Nat Snook said: "We have juniors coming through and the South West has a better junior set up." Jersey take on East Invicta, Worthing, Basingstoke and City of Southampton over the weekend in the South East Region Men's ASA Division One. Jersey will feature three new additions - Charlie Perkins, Ben Cocksworth and Lithuanian Andrius Jasaitis. Snook added: "All three will add strength to the Jersey side. "We are hoping for a good showing in the South East this year as there is a possibility that next year we will drop the South East and align with the South West Region going forward. "It makes geographical sense."
