 Jersey won two of their four games at the weekend |
Jersey's water polo team finished the South Region Men's Championships in fourth spot after two wins and two defeats at Les Quennevais pool. The home-side played well to beat Oxford 16-10 and impressively controlled their final match to consign East Invicta to a 9-7 defeat. Jersey had previously lost 12-11 to Southampton after a a last minute goal. They then lost 10-7 to three-time league winners Worthing, despite going into the final quarter at 7-7. Jersey finished fourth overall in the championships after goal differences were taken into account.
