Matt Scriven scored for St Clement but his side were relegated

St Clement have been relegated from the Jersey Premiership after a 7-2 defeat by Jersey Wanderers.

St Clement have been bottom for most of the season and have won just two of their 13 games.

Luke Campbell (2), Kamen Nafkha (2), Jay Reid, Michael Agrela and Barry Keith all struck for Wanderers.

Leon Nightingale and Matt Scriven grabbed the goals for St Clement, but after just a year in the top flight they will return to the Championship.

The Wanderers' win takes them up to second place in the table.

The other big winners in the island's Premiership on Saturday were champions St Paul's, who thumped St Ouen 5-1 .

Trinity beat St Peter 1-0 thanks to a Kurtis Guthrie goal, while Grouville and Jersey Scottish drew 1-1.
