Jersey's and Guernsey's basketball teams have been kept apart

The draw for team sports at the Island Games in Aland has kept Jersey and Guernsey apart in both the men's and women's competitions.

The team sports at the games are football, basketball and volleyball.

In men's football, Jersey face Rhodes and the Isle of Wight in Group C, whilst Guernsey are in Group B with Gibraltar and Froya.

In the women's football, Guernsey face all British opposition in Group B and Jersey are in Group A with Greenland.

In basketball, Jersey's men face Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, whilst the Guernsey women's team are up against Aland, Gibraltar, Isle of Man and Menorca.

In the men's volleyball competition, Bermuda and Gibraltar are amongst the opposition for Jersey, with Guernsey drawn against Gotland and the Faroe Islands.
