Michael Laverty had a disappointing day at Silverstone

Toomebridge's Michael Laverty failed to finish the opening race and came 15th in race two in the British Superbike Championship round at Silverstone.

His brother John was 21st and 13th while Leon Camier and Leon Haslam were the race winners.

Ian Lowry was sixth in the Supersports with Marty Nutt 11th and Alistair Seeley 12th while Paul Jordan came in sixth in the 125s.

Seeley was 16th in the Superstocks with Adrian Coates sixth in the R1 Cup.

BJ Toal was forced out of the Supersport race while Coates failed to finish the Superstock event.
