Preparations at the major venues have intensified with just weeks to go until the start of the Island Games in Aland.

The Wiklof Holding Arena, which will hold the athletics competition and has a 1650 capacity, is near completion.

Directly behind the Wiklof Holding Arena in Idrottsparken, the new tennis courts are almost completed as is the purpose-built 400-seat wooden stand.

The Games feature 25 islands, including the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey, and begin on 27 June.
