Arsenal will meet Doncaster Belles in the Women's Premier League Cup final after both clubs comfortably came through their semi-finals.

The Gunners won 4-0 at Chelsea while the Belles beat Northern Division side Preston 3-1 at Doncaster Rovers.

While the Gunners were on cup duty, their lead at the top of the Premier League table was cut to three points as Everton beat Blackburn 4-2.

Sunday's other three league games were postponed because of bad weather.

Women's Premier League Cup semi-finals

Chelsea 0-4 Arsenal

A 19th-minute own goal by Sophie Perry put the Gunners on the road to their 13th Premier League Cup final.

They were unable to increase their lead, however, until striker Julie Fleeting scored from close range 11 minutes into the second half.

But a conclusive victory was wrapped up in the closing stages, midfielder Jayne Ludlow scoring in the 79th minute and Fleeting bagging her second goal two minutes from time.

Doncaster Rovers Belles 3-1 Preston North End

A massive Doncaster victory looked on the cards as they flew into a 2-0 lead with just seven minutes on the clock.

Rachel Williams headed the opener and 60 seconds later Emily Heckler hit the second goal with a 20 yard drive.

But plucky Preston fought back and were rewarded with an Anisha Bateman goal six minutes before the interval.

The visitors were unable to respond again though, after Suzanne Davies had restored Donny's two-goal advantage a minute into the second period.

Women's Premier League

Everton 4-2 Blackburn Rovers

Everton had a great start as midfielder Emily Westwood headed them into the lead with less than a minute played.

But Blackburn quickly grabbed the initiative and equalised in the 15th minute through in-form striker Katie Anderton's 10th goal in her last six appearances.

When captain Natalie Preston then gave the visitors a 53rd-minute lead, Everton's 100% record seemed in serious danger.

But in the 61st minute left-winger Michelle Evans brought the scores level, then two minutes later striker Natasha Dowie shot the Toffees ahead.

A minute from time Dowie's second goal of the game assured the home side of a victory that keeps them hard on the heels of Arsenal.
