Striker Natasha Dowie hit a hat-trick as Everton destroyed Chelsea's unbeaten Women's Premier League record and kept their own 100% with a crushing 4-0 win.

Leaders Arsenal also kept alive their perfect record with a comfortable 4-0 home win against Leeds Carnegie.

Doncaster Belles stayed fourth after a 2-2 draw at Watford, for whom Jodian Clarke grabbed a last-minute equaliser.

At the bottom Liverpool came out of the relegation zone with their first win of the season, 1-0 at Birmingham City.

Chelsea 0-4 Everton

The scores were level at the interval, but the Chelsea floodgates opened after midfielder Fara Williams broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute.

Dowie then struck three times in half an hour, bagging her hat-trick goal four minutes from time.

Arsenal 4-0 Leeds Carnegie

Katie Chapman gave the Gunners a fifth minute lead that was doubled 14 minutes later when summer signing Niamh Fahey scored her first goal for the club.

Julie Fleeting added the third goal 20 minutes into the second half and Yvonne Tracy completed the scoring two minutes before time.

The victory not only maintained Arsenal's 100 per cent record but also took their goal aggregate to 48-8 after just eight league matches.

Watford 2-2 Doncaster Rovers Belles

Watford twice came from behind, Helen Lander scoring their first equaliser after Canadian striker Liz Hansen had given Donny an early lead.

Precious Hamilton shot the Belles back in front and a fourth successive victory looked on the cards - until Clarke struck as play moved into stoppage time.

Birmingham 0-1 Liverpool

The Reds took a shock fifth minute lead when Vicky Jones took advantage of an error by goalkeeper Sue Wood to shoot home from five yards.

Though Birmingham then enjoyed most of the possession through long periods of the match, the visitors held on for a morale boosting victory.
