Doncaster Belles and Chelsea both won 3-0 to progress into the semi-finals of the Women's Premier League Cup.

The Belles, runners-up three times but never competition winners, overcame Watford, and Chelsea defeated Fulham.

Preston North End beat Portsmouth to reach the semis for the first time, while rain forced the postponement of Arsenal's game at Leicester City.

In the Premier League, Everton thrashed Leeds 5-0 to draw level with Arsenal at the top of the table.

Women's Premier League Cup quarter-finals

Doncaster Rovers Belles 3-0 Watford

Emily Heckler and Vicky Exley scored within a minute of each other late in the first half to set up Donny's victory.

Watford battled hard to force their way back into the game, but they never looked likely to recover after Rachel Williams scored the third goal in the 67th minute.

Chelsea 3-0 Fulham

Claire Rafferty put the home side in front after 19 minutes but they had their work cut out to overcome their plucky opponents.

Katy Owen stretched the lead in the 66th minute and Lianne Sanderson assured Blues of a semi-final place with her 10th goal of the season in the last minute.

Portsmouth 0-1 Preston North End

A Gemma Watson goal took the Northern Division side into the last four, but they had to survive some anxious moments before claiming victory.

In each half Pompey hit the woodwork and had shots cleared off the line.

But Watson struck the decisive blow five minutes into the second half, turning in a Hannah Bailey cross from close range.

Everton 5-0 Leeds Carnegie

Everton cruised to victory after hitting four goals in the opening 40 minutes.

Fern Whelan, Jill Scott, Fara Williams and Toni Duggan were the scorers in an excellent first-half performance by the Toffees.

They relaxed a little after the interval but never lost their grip on the game.

Williams struck her second goal two minutes from time to complete the scoring and boost her team's goal-difference record as they look to overhaul Arsenal.
