I know a couple of the players up at Salisbury and going up with Michael Brough is good because we know each other from Torquay
It's been something of a hectic week for me to say the least. As well as getting married on Sunday, I've also managed to get a month out on loan at Salisbury City.
As I wrote last week, what I need now is games under my belt after recovering from leukaemia and my groin injury.
I played a practise match at Plainmoor in Wednesday morning with the Torquay lads. It felt really good playing two halves of 30 minutes in full kit and I go up to Salisbury on Thursday with Michael Brough to meet my new team-mates.
I'm glad to be getting some matches. I spoke to Paul Buckle a few times last week and was meant to go to Weymouth. We did have talks, but their takeover didn't happen in time so they didn't have the finances to do it.
But I had a phone call on Monday while I was a bit worse for wear after the wedding from Paul Buckle.
"I've got some good news for you, do you want to go to Salisbury to get a couple of games?," he said.

I used to play in front of Salisbury's goalkeeper James Bittner while I was at Exeter City so I think I will be comfortable.
Married life is great. Nothing much has changed although I think Gemma would like me to do a bit more cooking and cleaning.
I was a bit sceptical about people saying that your wedding day is 'the best day of your life' but I can safely say that it's true. It was amazing, I couldn't have asked for more
It's ironic that the day after I get hitched I get the chance to play at a club an hour and a half away.
Fortunately I don't have to live up there full-time. I'll go up a couple of days before a match and will continue to train at Torquay when I'm not in Wiltshire.

Before I go I want to thank Phil Boyd and James Sutton for my boots and pay my respects to a close family friend who has sadly passed away.
Roy Saunders, who was like a grandad to me, died last week. He watched loads of my games over the years and we're all going to miss him.
Chris Todd was talking to BBC South West's Brent Pilnick.
