Gulls frustration at postponement

Torquay chief executive Colin Lee was frustrated after Tuesday's game with Weymouth was called off.

Despite Plainmoor being playable the match was called off after coach companies in Weymouth felt it was too dangerous to travel across to Devon.

"It was a police decision to a degree which really and truthfully dictated the decision made by the coach companies," Lee told BBC Radio Devon.

The game will be replayed on Tuesday, 10 February, at Plainmoor.

"The players will be disappointed and the manager is disappointed that the game is not on," added Lee, whose side were knocked out of the FA Trophy by Southport on Saturday.

"Everyone would have liked to play because the quickest way to get a bad result out of your system is to get out on the pitch as quickly as possible and to put that right."
