Jordan Rhodes celebrates his first senior goal against Cardiff in April
Ipswich Town say they have agreed a new three-year deal with promising teenage striker Jordan Rhodes.
Town boss Jim Magilton told the club website: "Jordan made great progress last season. The new contract is good news for him and he fully deserves it."
Rhodes is due to put pen to paper early next week, along with Dean Bowditch, who has agreed a new one-year deal.
Rhodes, 18, made eight appearances from the bench last season, scoring his first senior goal in April.
Rhodes, who had a month on loan earlier in the season at Blue Square Premier outfit Oxford United, is the son of former Ipswich goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes, who left the club in May.
