Brighton have signed Ipswich striker Dean Bowditch, 20, on a month's loan. The Seagulls had tried to capture the former England Under-19 international earlier this season, but he has now been allowed to move to Withdean.
"Hopefully he can play some games, score some goals and come back to us flying," Town boss Jim Magilton told his club's website.
"We've seen the benefit of Danny Haynes going to Millwall on loan - he's come back full of confidence."
Bowditch has already served Burnley and Wycombe on loan in the last two seasons.
