Crewe's Mat Mitchel-King wants positive end to season
Mitchel-King is approaching the end of his first season in the Football League
Mat Mitchel-King wants Crewe to end the season on a positive note by showing passion and desire in the last three matches of a disappointing campaign.
The Alex are currently 18th, having been tipped for promotion in their first season back in League Two.
"We've underachieved this season and we need to show that we do care about the club and that it does matter to us," Mitchel-King told BBC Radio Stoke.
"We need to show that we are worthy of wearing a Crewe shirt."
Crewe take on Accrington at the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday, and will be hoping for revenge after losing 5-3 at the Crown Ground in September.
It was a real low point of the season for us, it was just a disaster

"It wasn't a good night when we went there," said the former Histon defender. "We made a poor start and it went from bad to worse.
"It was a real low point of the season for us, it was just a disaster.
"We've got a good opportunity, with it being a home game against a team that we didn't play well against, to play well, get a result and leave the fans smiling."
Mitchel-King has made 34 starts in his first season in the Football League, having joined the Alex from Blue Square Premier side Histon.
