Bayliss has seen few positives from his team's pre-season performances
Barrow joint-manager Dave Bayliss has warned his players they could be on their way out of the club unless performances improve.
Bayliss was incensed by Saturday's 3-2 friendly defeat to Kendal Town.
"It was shambolic and embarrassing," Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria. "I've not seen one player give me any optimism for the coming season."
"I'll go on the record now - these lads have got to shape-up or we will ship them out."
Barrow are preparing for their first season back in the top flight of non-league football in nine years following their promotion from Blue Square North.
However, Bayliss has been critical of his team's pre-season performances and has finally lost patience with his squad.

"Even though it's pre-season, you've still got to put a performance out," Bayliss said.
"The only positive for me since pre-season started is that Lee Hunt has looked sharp and hungry and Ashley Winn has been like a breath of fresh air.
"The other lads have got to show some kind of enthusiasm because as far as I'm concerned some of these players need a rocket up the backside. If they don't start producing, they will never play for this club again."
Barrow open their new Blue Square Premier season at home to Oxford United on Friday 8 August.
"We've had a number of phone calls for some of our players. We are also speaking to other players.
"Me and Shez [Darren Sheridan] are at the end of our tether now. We're fed up of making excuses for them. We are both fighters and winners and we don't want to be associated with that team we saw on Saturday,
"They've got to stand up and show us what they're made of."
The Bluebirds could be without defender Lee Woodyatt for the most of the coming season after the right-back suffered a broken tibia and fibia and a dislocated ankle in the Kendal Town defeat.
Woodyatt underwent surgery on Sunday to have his leg pinned. However Bayliss has no complaints over the tackle that caused the injury.
"It wasn't a malicious tackle. Even Lee himself has said that. It wasn't meant," said Bayliss.
The Bluebirds meanwhile have ended their interest in trialist defender Jamie Burns.
