New Barrow signing Lee Hunt believes he made the right choice in joining the club from Welsh Premier side Rhyl.
The 26-year-old striker became Barrow's first summer signing when he agreed a one-year deal with the Blue Square Premier newcomers last month.
Hunt told BBC Radio Cumbria: "I had interest from other clubs but [Barrow co-manager] Dave Bayliss really sold Barrow to me.
"I just felt that Barrow was the best club for me at this time."
Hunt, a self-employed bricklayer, scored 92 times in 153 appearances for Rhyl after previous spells with Bangor City and West Cheshire League side Helmsby.

"I put a transfer request in half-way through last season because I felt the time was right to move on," Hunt said.
"At first when I went there I did enjoy myself and scored a lot of goals but near the end the goals dried up and I just wasn't enjoying it. A couple of clubs showed an interest but Rhyl were asking for too much money. "
Hunt admits he does not know too much about his new club or team-mates but believes he has made a step up in class in moving to Holker Street.
"The Blue Square Premier is a much better standard than the Welsh Premier in my opinion," he said.
"I like playing off the shoulder of the defender. I'm a physical player and like to put myself about. I work hard and hopefully score goals for Barrow.
"It's a big challenge for me but I'm looking forward to it."
