Bayliss hopes training on grass will benefit his players (Getty)
Barrow co-boss Dave Bayliss has said he hopes preparations for their return to the Blue Square Premier will be helped by finding new training facilities.
"We've had a bit of a breakthrough in finding grass pitches, not astroturf," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We had lads who missed training sessions last year because of how difficult the surface was to train on.
"We're in the Conference National, we've got to prepare and train right and we need the facilities to do it."
The Bluebirds will find out their schedule for the 2008-09 season when the Blue Square Premier fixtures are released in the first week of July.
