Bayliss was encouraged by his side's win over a Furness XI
Barrow will take another look at Jamie Burns and James Holden, who are currently on trial at Holker Street.
Ex-Blackpool and Morecambe defender Burns and FC United midfielder Holden played in Saturday's opening friendly.
And, following a 4-1 win over a Furness XI, co-boss Dave Bayliss confirmed both will get another chance to impress.
"Jamie is a solid pro," Bayliss told BBC Cumbria. "James did well too. But we need to have another look at them against competitive opposition."
The Bluebirds opened their pre-season campaign at Holker Street with a win thanks to goals from Paul Tait, Nick Rogan, Lee Hunt and Jason Walker.
"It was a very pleasing first run-out for us and all four strikers managed to score which was also good to see," said Bayliss.
We have big expectations of Lee Hunt this season. He is a player who could make a big difference to us

"It was great for Lee to get his goal. There's a lot more to Lee's game than just poaching. He works really hard up front and he will give defenders problems,
"We have big expectations of him this season and he is a player who could make a big difference to us."
The Barrow management team of Bayliss and Darren Sheridan were also encouraged by the performance of new signing Ashley Winn after the midfielder made the move from Stalybridge Celtic last week.
"Ashley Winn has come in for his first game, was full of energy and impressed us with his movement."
Bayliss played down fears that striker Nick Rogan may face a spell on the sidelines after he suffered a recurrence of an old injury.
"He had a problem with his hip or his groin in the final 10 games of last season which he played through but it's no big deal.
"He's trained all pre-season and hasn't felt it until now. But Nick's a tough lad and I'm sure he'll be all right."
The Bluebirds face Morecambe at Holker Street on Tuesday night (July 15) before a trip to Radcliffe Borough on Saturday (July 19).
