Carlisle United have completed the signing of defender Richard Keogh from Bristol City on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old joins the League One side after spending seven games on loan for the Cumbrians last November.
Keogh told BBC Radio Cumbria: "It's really good to be back to be honest, it's been a bit of a long summer.
"With regards to my future, mentally it's been tough, but I have a lot of good people around me."

He continued: "I had quite a few options and I spoke to a few people but in my heart of hearts I always wanted to come back to Carlisle.
"This is the best move for me, I was more than happy to sign and I just can't wait to get going again.
"I'm just happy everything's been sorted now and I'm just happy to play for the manager and the fans."
