| Saturday, 5 October, 2002, 17:34 GMT 18:34 UK Kidderminster 1-0 Hull Kidderminster made it nine games without defeat with a well-deserved victory over Hull City. And it was Bo Henriksen - signed for Kidderminster by Molby before his move north - who sealed the visitors' fate in the second half. A deep cross by Craig Hinton found the Danish marksman, whose shot on the turn from 15 yards beat visiting goalkeeper Paul Musselwhite. Kidderminster could have had a second but Drewe Broughton's lob was headed off the line by Ian Ashbee. The visitors' best chances fell to on-loan striker Michael Branch - who twice headed over with keeper Stuart Brock out of position - and Phil Jevons, who also headed over. Kidderminster: Brock, Ayres, Hinton, Clyde, Stamps, Flynn, Melligan, Williams, Shilton, Henriksen, Broughton. Subs: Danby, Bennett, Foster, Smith, Joy. Hull: Musselwhite, Regan, Anderson, Whittle, Edwards, Green, Ashbee, Keates, Branch, Jevons, Elliott. Subs: Smith, Dudfield, Glennon, Williams, Johnson. Referee: E Ilderton (Tyne & Wear). |
