| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 16:33 GMT Mansfield 3-2 Notts County Mark Stallard hit two goals in the last eight minutes but was unable to stop Mansfield claiming victory against derby rivals Notts County. A disappointing game exploded into life when Mansfield winger Wayne Corden's low cross allowed Andy White to break the deadlock after 52 minutes. Mansfield doubled their lead 13 minutes later through substitute Craig Mitchell, who ran on to Lee Williamson's perfect pass and smashed the ball into the top corner. And when Corden made it 3-0, the game seemed to be over with County struggling to offer anything up front. However, Stallard dragged Billy Dearden's side back into the match by firing home Paul Heffernan's knock-down on 79 minutes. He then set up a tense finish with another goal at the death after shrugging off a challenge. Mansfield: Pilkington, Doane, Gadsby, Day, Eaton, Lawrence, Curtis, Williamson, Corden, Andy White, Mendes. Subs: Jason White, Disley, Curle, Mitchell, Hassell. Notts County: Mildenhall, Ramsden, Ireland, Fenton, Richardson, Bolland, Caskey, Baraclough, Liburd, Stallard, Allsopp. Subs: Nicholson, Brough, Holmes, Deeney, Heffernan.
