Tadcaster Albion manager Paul Marshall believes his side are back in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division title race.
Following their 3-2 win at Pickering Town, Albion are 17 points behind leaders Farsley with six games in hand.
Marshall told BBC Radio York: "From a club point of view, it's put us right back in the title race.
"The lads showed tremendous character to come back from 2-1 down, we've shown good aptitude and great effort."
Marshall singled out his defenders, adding: "I thought Ryan Qualter and Dave Hartas really stood up to the plate today, and Andy Sunley played right-back and left-back today and he was outstanding."
The players have exceeded all expectations from myself and the club

Albion suffered a narrow FA Vase fourth round defeat at Billingham Synthonia recently, and Marshall hopes the win over Pickering win, which moved them up to fifth in the table, will bring their consistency back.
"We'd only lost one game until a few weeks ago, and then we've started winning one and losing one," Marshall added.
"The target was to be competitive in every game and they've been more than competitive. The players have exceeded all expectations from myself and the club."
