Marshall has taken Tadcaster to third in the league table
Tadcaster Albion's run in the FA Vase ended with a 2-1 defeat at Billingham Synthonia in the fourth round.
Albion manager Paul Marshall told BBC Radio York a poor first half and a disallowed goal led to their defeat.
"It was like a double blow in the end even though we didn't deserve to get anything from the game," he said.
"The second half, they played a lot better but they didn't do enough to win the game. A draw would have been nice if we'd got that goal."
Marshall added: "It was what we thought was a valid goal.
It's a disappointment but we've had a great experience, a great run and we've made a few quid for the club

"The referee seemed to overrule it. He went over to consult the linesman and two or three of our players started jumping up and down and I thought he'd given us the goal. Then he turned back and gave a free kick.
"I was very disappointed with the first-half performance. We let ourselves down. We didn't get hold of the ball.
"We just kept giving it away, which is the most disappointing thing. Usually we're a team that likes to get hold of the ball and play football.
"It's a disappointment but we've had a great experience, a great run and we've made a few quid for the club."
Tadcaster lie third in the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division.
