Woking manager Graham Baker said he was delighted to have Craig Faulconbridge back after injury.

The striker scored twice from the substitute's bench in their 2-0 win over Basingstoke at Kingfield.

Baker told BBC Surrey: "I'm pleased for Craig. He was our catalyst last season that turned it round for us".

"He had this sciatica going down the back of his leg. He's come on today and scored a couple of goals. Hopefully now we've got the real Craig back."

The game was goaless until Faulconbridge was given his first action of the new season off the bench to score on 73 and 90 minutes.

Baker was also glad to see the side win only their second home game of the campaign

"Its important that when we come back home we start to show a bit of form and excite the crowd," he said.

"And it followed on from the good performance at St Albans last weekend".
