Woking manager Graham Baker says his players must improve if they are to challenge in Blue Square Bet South.
Their 3-0 defeat away to Chelmsford on Tuesday was the Cards' second straight defeat of the campaign.
Baker told BBC Surrey: "It's about doing the basics right and not giving away silly goals. The first goal we gave away was [a] schoolboy [error].
"If you keep doing that, it doesn't matter who you are, you're going to keep losing football matches."
He added: "Football is about being men, regrouping, and demanding better from yourself. That is what this group have got to do now.
