Woking manager Graham Baker says his players will be ready for the start of the Blue Square Bet South season.
The Cards switched to part-time football over the summer because of budgetary constraints at the club.
He told BBC Surrey: "Bit by bit we're getting more football into the boys gradually. I'm quite happy with where we are at the moment.
"We're going to be as close as we to full-time fitness. We'll try and put in extra days when we can."
Baker lost Tom Hutchinson, Harry Arter, Tony Sinclair and Giuseppe Sole after they missed out on promotion via the play-offs.
He said: "Once we knew the budget was going to be reduced and we knew we'd lose players to higher levels then it's a question of going out to get other bits and pieces.
"They're quality players that are hard to replace. We're not going to replace them due to the budget this season, there's no denying that.
"But we've bought some good boys in that are going to do very well."
Woking host a Pakistan International XI on Sunday, which will be shown live on TV in Asia.
