Neil Aspin is starting his fourth full season in charge at Harrogate Town
Harrogate Town manager Neil Aspin felt that Hucknall were fortunate to lose only 2-0 at the CNG Stadium.
Hucknall held out until half-time but second-half strikes from Richard Marshall and Danny Holland secured all three points for Town.
Aspin told BBC Radio York: "It should have been a lot more. If we'd have scored five or six it wouldn't have been an unfair reflection of the game."
Town are now fifth in Blue Square North and travel to Gateshead on Monday.
Aspin added: "We should have scored in the first minute from a free-kick nd we missed numerous chances in the first-half, so it did get a bit worrying."
We don't go into games fearing anyone

"We kept plugging away and I felt that if we kept going in the second-half the goals would come, but it was nice when the second one went in and gave us a bit of breathing space."
Richard Marshall has been struggling with an injury but he marked his arrival after the break with the opening goal.
"He came on and has shown me he probably deserved to start and he took his goal very well," said Aspin.
Danny Holland has also been hampered by injury. "He's got some fluid on his knee, so we've been taking it easy with him this week.
"He's not trained, so it was a case of seeing how he was before the game.
"He responded well today, he scored a good goal and led the line well."
Town travel to third-placed Gateshead on Monday followed by a home game against Hyde on Saturday.
"We're capable of getting a result against both teams so we don't go into games fearing anyone. It's just a case of us playing to our maximum and then we've got a chance," Aspin concluded.
